By now you know I am Coconut’s mom and I am not a gardener. Well, a ton of gardening has happened in the five years since we moved here, but it was not my hobby of choice. Being a dog mom was not something I ever wanted to do, either.
Yet here we are. Somehow my crazy life in WI is all about getting rid of all the grass, adding native plants, and finding unique but not cheesy yard art for our garden. And a dog.
To celebrate the release of my new book, yes, it’s all about dogs, I decided to buy a peace pole. I found one last year on a happy day I spent with a friend at a nursery up near Green Bay. I knew I wanted more, but they aren’t cheap.

This pole celebrates dogs and gardening. I guess it was made just for me.
